Beginner

The beginner lessons are for player who are new to the sport or still new to formal instruction. These lessons are intended to give players a solid foundation on the basics tennis, allowing them to be able to feel comfortable on the tennis courts. Our goal is to provide fun lessons that allow you to find the love of the game that all of our coaches feel!

Necessary Skill Level

Learning Goals
• Swing Path & Angle Basics
• Introduction of Spin
• Introduction to different shot types
• Footwork Basics
• Develop tennis-centric decision making skills
• Develop Psychological Skills
• Positioning Basics for singles and doubles

Intermediate

The intermediate lessons are for players who have a good foundation in the sport and have taken several formal lessons before. These lessons are intended to provide the next step to players who have already have a foundation on the basics tennis. Our goal is to provide fun lessons that allow you to find the love of the game that all of our coaches feel!

Necessary Skill Level
• Ability to hit ~80% of their shots over the net consistently from the baseline with the ball landing inside of the court most of that time
• Competent form on forehand, backhand, volley
• Able to hit an overhead serve over the net from the baseline consistently
• Able to cooperatively rally with a student of a similar level for 8-13 shots each

Advanced

The advanced lessons are for players who have a strong foundation in the sport and have taken many formal lessons before. These lessons are intended to provide the advanced instruction to players who are who have begun to develop a competitive game. Our goal is to provide fun lessons that allow you to find the love of the game and skill required to compete!

Necessary Skill Level
• Ability to hit nearly all of their static shots over the net consistently from the baseline with the ball landing inside of the court most of that time
• Competent form on forehand, backhand, volley
• Able to hit an overhead serve over the net from the baseline consistently
• Able to hit both topspin and underspin consistently
• Able to cooperatively rally with a student of a similar level for 15+ shots each
